The Arakan Army statement said, “The Junta Army is convinced that they will be defeated if they try to resist us.” That is why they are withdrawing the army by burning the checkpoints and bases of the cities we are aiming to capture.
The Arakan Army said that the Junta troops destroyed their stockpiled weapons and ammunition inside Checkpoints 402 and 408 of Miyebon town at around 5:30 pm yesterday. They took the weapons that the checkpoint could carry with them.
